Lung Necklace

The beginnings of a lung necklace. Sort of looks like an upside down tree, so that's good.

Oh THAT's what it looks like!

After firing, glazing, firing again, here we are. A lovely half eaten apple of dreams. It's actually going to be a necklace when it grows up.

One slip cast half eaten apple. Cast from an original half eaten apple, not, obviously, eaten once made. Although it's pretty yummy looking. Yep.

Kathleen and Lily's

Well I've now managed to get my bird and moustache necklaces into Kathleen and Lily's lovely shop on Mansfield Road in Nottingham - I'm very happy about that! They have tonnes of lovely things in there, weird and wonderful bits and bobs like Domino brooches and cutlery necklaces which are utterly utterly utterly splendiferous, and vintage dresses that make me wish I didn't have clay all over most of my clothes.

No sooner had the lovely Claire Pearson agreed to let me sell my jewellery in her shop The Bee Tree in Matlock, I sold a bird and a moustache necklace to some no doubt very tasteful customers!

Birds

These were the bird necklaces I was making last summer, they were glazed earthenware with illustrations hand drawn onto them. I call this collection the 'Rather Nice' collection.

The 'Rather Lovely' Collection

This is the 'Rather Lovely' collection. It is so far, a moustache necklace and a bird necklace. They are both made from white earthenware decorated with blue botanical illustrations fired on as transfers.

You should probably definitely buy one. Both in fact.
